We're in for another great weekend, with the Lions' wrapping up their Australia Tour in Sydney and the F1 championship heading back to the Nurburgring circuit in Germany for the first time since 2011. This is also the last weekend before the long daylight hours of fasting for Ramadan begins. So take a look at what's happening in your local community and do something other than sitting in front of the TV all weekend!

Saturday 6th July
'Fy Milltir Sqwâr', Oriel King Street Gallery
10am – 5pm
A joint exhibition by five artists from Tywi Printmakers, Fy Milltir Sqwâr / My Square Mile Exhibition, is now held at the gallery (ends 31st July).
Their collection of etchings, collagraphs, monotypes, linocuts and cuts evoke, celebrate and reflect the artists' relationship with their own patch of Carmarthenshire. Images range from intimate details known only to local people to broader representations of recognisable landmarks.
Behind each original artwork is a story, sometimes personal, sometimes the shared memories of friends and neighbours. This collection of work is a unique moment to discover new things about this beautiful county.
Everyone is invited to a special viewing at the official opening on Friday 5th July 6-8.30pm.
